Store Manager | Luxury Retail | Mumbai
StorySideUp is hiring a Store Manager for a leading luxury retail client in Mumbai. Details of the client will be revealed to shortlisted candidates.
The Role
- Full store ownership — sales targets, team, operations, and customer experience
- Drive KPIs: conversion, Average Transaction Value (ATV), UPT (Units per transaction), productivity, and sell-through
- Analyze sales data and market trends to build action plans that improve store performance
Customer & Client Management
- Maintain luxury service standards with a strong focus on personalized engagement
- Build and nurture relationships with VIP and repeat clientele
- Handle escalations with maturity and resolve
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the store team
- Conduct regular performance reviews and feedback conversations
- Drive engagement and hold the team to brand grooming and conduct standards
Operations
- Oversee daily store ops — inventory, cash handling, audit compliance, shrinkage control
- Manage rosters, attendance, and manpower planning
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for smooth store functioning
Visual Merchandising
- Ensure VM is always brand compliant
- Drive commercial product placement to maximize sales
What We're Looking For
- Graduate or postgraduate
- 5 to 10 years in retail, with at least 2 to 3 years managing a team
- Luxury or premium retail experience preferred
