Role Description The Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at the Singur facility, responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations and inventory management. This role involves supervising receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards. The Store Manager coordinates with production, procurement, and quality teams to support timely material availability and efficient workflow. Responsibilities include monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, managing documentation, and implementing loss prevention practices. The role also requires guiding store staff, promoting a culture of customer-focused service for internal stakeholders, and supporting continuous improvement in store operations.
Qualifications
- Customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service abilities to support internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Strong Communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and report inventory and store-related information clearly.
- Store Management experience, including overseeing inventory, documentation, and workflow in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention or equivalent loss control practices to reduce discrepancies and protect company assets.
- Prior experience in engineering, manufacturing, or heavy industry stores operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP tools, and proficiency in basic MS Office applications.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant diploma or degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering, or a related field is advantageous.
