Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Store Manager based Kalyani expressway, Barrackpore. The Store Manager is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of fabrics and related materials. The role ensures accurate stock tracking, quality maintenance, and timely availability of fabrics for production.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Textile, Fashion, or related field.
- Experience in export houses or large garment units.
- Understanding of production planning. Generate daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports.
- Effective Communication skills for team management, customer interactions, and conflict resolution
- Check fabric defects, shade variation, and lot consistency. Coordinate with QA team for inspection and approvals.Segregate rejected or damaged fabrics.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Basic Excel skills for reporting.
- Ability to work independently and handle managerial roles
- Supervise store assistants and helpers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store.
