This Job Description is designed for a seasoned professional capable of managing high value inventory while delivering a premium customer experience. For a Mens Accessories brand, the focus often blends the elegance of luxury retail with the agility of fashion trends. The Store Manager will be responsible for driving store performance, delivering exceptional customer experience and managing day to day retail operations of the brand store. The role requires strong leadership, sales orientation and operational excellence to ensure profitability, brand standards and team productivity.
Core Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: Drive the store’s sales performance to meet and exceed monthly and annual targets. Implement local marketing initiatives to increase footfall.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, high-security protocols for inventory and daily stock counts.
- Team Development: Recruit, train and mentor a team of Sales Associates. Conduct regular briefings on product knowledge, storytelling and luxury selling techniques.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Build and maintain a loyal client base. Personally handle VIP clients and resolve complex customer grievances with grace.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store reflects the brand’s aesthetic. Oversee display rotations, lighting and cleanliness to ensure the Merchandise is showcased at its best.
- Inventory & Audit: Manage end to end inventory, including stock replenishment, managing "dead stock" and ensuring zero discrepancy during audits.
Requirements and Skillsets
- Product Expertise: Understanding of Men’s Accessories and design basics.
- Sales Mastery: Proven ability to close high value sales and coach others in suggestive selling and upselling.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in retail math (calculating conversion rates, ATV and growth percentages) and POS software.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, a polished professional appearance and a high degree of emotional intelligence.
- Problem Solving: Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle operational hiccups (e.g. staffing shortages or technical issues) independently.
- Integrity and adherence to cash/stock handling policies. High standards of personal grooming, punctuality and reliability.

Qualification and Experience
- Experience: 8–9 years of experience in offline retail, with at least 5 years specifically within the Cosmetics, Jewelry or Luxury sector.
- Leadership: Minimum 3 years in a managerial or assistant managerial role.
- Education: Graduate degree in Business Administration, Retail Management or a related field.
Compensation
- Fixed Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹60,000 per month (Based on experience and current CTC).
- Variable Pay: Performance linked incentives based on store target achievement (monthly/quarterly).
