Role Description The Store Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Kanker, with some flexibility for work-from-home tasks such as reporting, documentation, and coordination. The Store Manager will oversee day-to-day store operations, including inventory control, stock planning, merchandising, and ensuring timely availability of parts and products. This role involves supervising store staff, managing schedules, monitoring performance, and fostering a customer-focused culture. The Store Manager will track sales and margins, manage cash and billing processes, implement loss prevention measures, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. The role also includes regular reporting to management, collaboration with workshop and project teams, and continuous improvement of store processes and customer service.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to handle queries and resolve issues professionally.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and management, and for preparing clear reports and documentation.
- Store Management experience, including inventory control, staff supervision, and day-to-day operational oversight in a retail or parts store environment.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to reduce shrinkage, protect assets, and ensure adherence to company procedures.
- Prior experience in automotive, retail, or related industries is beneficial, especially in parts management or workshop support.
- Ability to use basic computer applications and inventory management or POS systems.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in records and reporting.
- Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model from Kanker, manage time effectively, and adapt to a multi-business environment.
