Role OverviewWe are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Store Manager to lead our Home Essentials store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing store operations, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities1. Store Operations
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning
- Maintain store hygiene, visual merchandising, and product displays
- Ensure inventory accuracy and stock availability
2. Sales & Revenue
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Drive upselling and cross-selling of products
- Monitor KPIs like conversion rate, average bill value, and footfall
3. Team Management
- Hire, train, and supervise store staff
- Create staff schedules and manage attendance
- Motivate the team to achieve sales goals
4. Customer Experience
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally
- Build repeat customer relationships
5. Inventory & Vendor Coordination
- Manage stock levels, replenishment, and audits
- Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for timely deliveries
- Minimize shrinkage and wastage
6. Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain daily sales and MIS reports
- Ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs
- Monitor cash handling and billing accuracy
Requirements- Graduate (any discipline)
- 3–6 years of experience in retail store management
- Strong leadership and team handling skills
- Good communication and customer-handling ability
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and inventory tools
