Job Summary
A Retail Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, achieving sales targets, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring smooth functioning of the retail showroom. The role includes team supervision, inventory management, sales monitoring, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall day-to-day store/showroom operations
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales and support staff
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Ensure excellent customer service and customer satisfaction
- Monitor staff attendance, grooming, discipline, and performance
- Handle inventory management, stock verification, and replenishment
- Ensure proper visual merchandising and showroom presentation
- Coordinate with management regarding sales reports and store performance
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally
- Monitor billing, cash handling, and store security procedures
- Train new employees and improve team productivity
- Maintain compliance with company policies and operational standards
🎓 Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in retail store management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer-handling abilities
- Knowledge of inventory control and retail operations
- Sales-driven and target-oriented mindset
- Basic computer and billing software knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure and manage store operations efficiently
