Role Description The Store Manager – Mumbai at Morning Owl is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing daily store operations and ensuring an excellent customer experience. The role includes supervising staff, managing inventory and displays, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring that sales targets and store performance goals are met. The Store Manager will maintain store standards, implement retail loss prevention practices, and ensure that all customer interactions reflect the brand’s values. This position also involves training and mentoring the store team, monitoring key performance indicators, and coordinating with regional and head office teams for promotions, reporting, and operational improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a commitment to delivering a positive in-store experience.
- Effective Communication skills to interact with customers, guide team members, and collaborate with management.
- Proficiency in Store Management.
- Previous experience in retail or store management, ideally in consumer products or home furnishings.
- Comfort with basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems.
- Minimum educational qualification of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in retail management or a related field.
