Job Description:
- Compliance & Safety: Follow safety procedures while handling and issuing heavy or hazardous materials.
- Issue raw materials, semi-finished and consumable items (e.g., copper wire, CRGO sheets, insulation materials, transformer oil, etc.) to production based on approved requisitions or job orders.
- Ensure that issued materials match the correct part numbers, quantities, and specifications.
- Documentation & Records: Record all issuance transactions in ERP system accurately and in real-time.
- Maintain Material Issue Slips, Job Cards, or Work Orders with proper authorization.
- Update inventory logs to reflect current stock levels.
- Coordination with Production, Stores, Purchase
- Communicate with production supervisors to understand material requirements and priorities.
- Coordinate with the storekeeper or store manager for replenishment of frequently issued items.
- Inventory Support: Assist in conducting daily or cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Notify the store in charge about low stock levels or damaged items during issuance.
- Ensure that FIFO and LIFO principles are followed as applicable
- Ensure materials are properly packed, labelled, and transported within the facility.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the issue area.
Qualifications, Skills, Abilities & Work Conditions:
- Bachelor’s degree (BE/B. Tech, B. com)
- Experience in transformers industry.
- 5 to 8 year’s experience in stores, supply chain & procurement function
- Should have ERP knowledge (preferable Microsoft AX).
