Role Description This full-time Store Assistant role is an on-site position based in Mumbai. The Store Assistant will support day-to-day store operations, including welcoming customers, understanding their needs, and providing product recommendations aligned with the brand’s style and fit. Responsibilities include handling retail sales transactions, maintaining inventory displays, keeping the store clean and organized, and assisting with stock checks and replenishment. The role also involves responding to customer queries, managing exchanges or returns in line with store policies, and supporting in-store promotions or events. The Store Assistant may help onboard new team members, share product knowledge, and work closely with the store management to ensure a positive and consistent customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Experience or aptitude in Retail Sales, including product recommendation and point-of-sale operations.
- Good Organization Skills to manage stock, maintain visual merchandising, and ensure a tidy store environment.
- Ability to support Training of new staff by sharing product, brand, and process knowledge.
- Prior experience in retail or fashion stores is preferred but not mandatory.
- Comfort working on-site, including weekends and peak shopping hours, as required.
- Basic numeric skills and attention to detail for handling transactions and inventory counts.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn about menswear and evolving fashion trends.
