About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Store & Purchase Executive to manage our material procurement and inventory for high-end interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of interior materials (hardware, laminates, veneers, electricals, etc.) and a proven track record of maintaining seamless site operations through efficient supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
• Procurement: Sourcing and purchasing materials such as plywood, hardware, paints, glass, and electrical fittings based on project requirements.
• Vendor Management: Negotiating with suppliers to ensure the best pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
• Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock at the warehouse or site.
• Documentation: Preparing Purchase Orders (POs), Material Receipt Notes (MRN), and maintaining Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
• Reporting: Regularly updating the management on stock levels, procurement costs, and pending deliveries using MS Excel.
• Coordination: Working closely with Site Supervisors and Project Managers to ensure zero downtime due to material shortages.
Candidate Requirements
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience specifically within the Interior Fit-out or Construction industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel for reporting and data management).
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of interior materials, brands, and market rates in Pune.
• Communication: Good negotiation skills and the ability to handle multiple vendors simultaneously.
• Logistics: Ability to manage logistics and ensure materials reach project sites safely and on time.
