Job Title: Storage /NetApp Engineer
Location: Noida onsite
Long term contract
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced NetApp Storage Engineer with 8 years of hands-on expertise in managing, configuring, and supporting NetApp storage systems. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of storage administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and administer NetApp storage systems (ONTAP, AFF, FAS).
• Perform storage provisioning, configuration, and capacity planning.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability.
• Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Work with SAN/NAS environments (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, FC).
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for storage-related activities.
• Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures.
Required Skills:
• Strong experience with NetApp ONTAP.
• Knowledge of storage protocols: NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI, Fibre Channel.
• Experience in SnapMirror, SnapVault, and data protection tools.
• Familiarity with performance tuning and monitoring tools.
• Basic knowledge of VMware/virtualization environments.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
• NetApp certifications (NCDA, NCIE).
• Experience with cloud integrations (AWS/Azure storage).
• Scripting knowledge (Shell/Python) is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
