Role Description The Storage Administrator is a full-time hybrid role based in New Delhi, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. This role is responsible for managing and monitoring enterprise storage systems, including provisioning, capacity planning, performance optimization, and data protection. Day-to-day tasks include implementing storage solutions, configuring replication and backup strategies, performing routine health checks, and coordinating maintenance activities. The Storage Administrator will troubleshoot storage-related issues, collaborate with system and network teams on infrastructure projects, and ensure adherence to security, compliance, and documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Storage Management and Storage Solutions design, implementation, and optimization.
- Experience with Troubleshooting and System Administration in enterprise or data center environments.
- Knowledge of data Replication, backup, and recovery strategies across heterogeneous platforms.
- Understanding of HPC, compute, and networking concepts relevant to storage infrastructure is beneficial.
- Familiarity with major storage platforms (SAN, NAS, DAS, or cloud storage) and related tools.
- Ability to document configurations, procedures, and changes clearly and accurately.
- Relevant technical degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; professional certifications in storage or systems administration are an advantage.
- Capacity to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
