Team Overview

Join EquiLend’s Professional Services team in Bengaluru and help drive client success through seamless implementations and impactful solutions for our Spire end-to-end Securities Finance system.

As a Manager Professional Services, you’ll lead a team, align regional activities with global goals, and ensure clients receive exceptional support through their pre and post onboarding journey.

This role provides a unique opportunity to combine leadership, client engagement, and strategic delivery planning to make a meaningful impact.

You will guide clients through a full lifecycle of value realisation - from pre-implementation consulting and business process analysis to long-term advisory and best practice adoption. By taking a consultative approach, you’ll address broader organizational needs, engage in process reengineering, deliver training, and forge lasting client partnerships that extend well beyond go-live.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the professional services team in India, overseeing all regional activities and ensuring strategic alignment with global priorities.
• Act as the primary point of contact in India for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring strong relationships and effective communication.
• Drive the successful delivery of client implementations, meeting time, scope, and budget objectives while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Coordinating feedback loops with product teams to drive innovation and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate closely with global counterparts to ensure seamless project execution across time zones and functions.
• Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, team scalability, and client value delivery.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members, ensuring high performance and engagement.
• Oversee client upgrades and continuous development projects, across all global regions as needed.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on the EquiLend Spire system, guiding strategic discussions and contributing to client success.
• Monitor risk management across implementations, proactively identifying and addressing potential challenges.
• Represent EquiLend in industry discussions and events, showcasing the expertise and capabilities of the professional services team.
• Providing long-term strategic guidance and continuous improvements to clients.
  
  

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience with recent experience in professional services.
• Strong communication and client relationship-building skills beyond simple project execution to establish and maintain lasting partnerships.
• Ability to ensure client success through strategic planning and ensuring client success.
• Strong project management background with the ability to manage multiple complex implementations simultaneously.
• Ability to strategically advise clients on organisational change, process reengineering, and industry best practices to unlock maximum value from Spire.
• Proven experience leading teams and delivering results in a regional or global framework, including recruitment and talent development.
• In-depth understanding of financial services, preferably within Securities Finance
• Exceptional stakeholder management and client relationship skills, with a track record of creating long-term partnerships.
• Advanced project delivery expertise, including planning, execution, and risk management.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to align regional team objectives with organizational goals.
• Familiarity with SaaS products and financial software configuration, particularly in Books and Records systems is a plus.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
