As part of our journey, we are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team in Berlin or Luxembourg. About the Role As a Junior Accountant, you will support our Finance Team that includes internal Finance Lead and service companies in managing financial operations and maintaining accurate financial records for our operating company and the vehicles that we manage. You will be responsible for operational tasks related to invoices, asset accounting, and financial reconciliations, while gaining exposure to the fast-paced world of blockchain and tokenized securities. What You'll Do Invoice Management: - Handle processes for supplier, client, and third-party invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Manage incoming and outgoing invoices. Asset Accounting: - Maintain and update asset accounting records. - Assist in monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client activity, revenue generation, trading activity. - Contribute toward development of processes related crypto accounting from various exchanges account and non-custodial wallet setups. Annual Accounts: - Analyze and explain annual accounts to internal stakeholders. - Implement software solution internally for accounting both bank transactions and crypto transactions. Bank and Crypto account Reconciliations: - Conduct banking account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. What You'll Bring Professional Background - Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. - At least 1 year of experience in accounting or finance, ideally in the fund industry or cryptocurrency sector. Skills and Expertise - Fluent in English (German and/or French is a plus). - Proficient in Microsoft Excel with a strong ability to handle financial data. - Knowledge of financial and accounting regulations. - Eagerness to learn or experience in dealing with digital assets transactions. Personal Attributes - Detail-oriented and accurate. - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively. - Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively. - Keen to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes. - Interest in financial markets/crypto is a must.
