Position: Math Interventionist/Paraprofessional
Location: Smith Elementary 6.5 hours per day
Pay Rate: $16.95/hr - follow SMESPA collective bargaining agreement
Date(s): 26-27 School Year
Responsibilities:
- Provide SpringMath Tier 3 interventions to identified students
- Working primarily 1:1 with individual students
- Putting data into the SpringMath dashboard to monitor progress
- Communication with general education teacher as needed
- May communicate with parents regarding student progress
- Working to create a robust schedule with teacher and building principal input that maximizes student intervention time
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Minimum 60 college credits
- Demonstrated aptitude and competency in mathematics
- Demonstrated aptitude and competency interacting with children
- Ability to work and communicate well with teachers, administrators and parents
- Ability to work successfully with minimal direct supervision
