Job Title: Stock Manager

About the RolePratapsons Heritage is seeking a highly disciplined and detail-oriented Stock Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory and warehouse management. This role demands strict operational control, accountability, and the ability to manage and supervise a large team while maintaining zero tolerance for errors.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Control & Accuracy
- Maintain accurate stock records across all SKUs (30,000+ items).
- Ensure real-time stock updates with minimal discrepancies.
- Conduct regular physical audits and cycle counts.
- Strict Process Implementation
- Enforce strict SOPs across picking, packing, storage, and returns.
- Build and maintain a zero-error culture in inventory handling.
- Monitor and eliminate stock losses, misplacements, and damages.
- Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff (pickers, packers, auditors).
- Assign roles, track performance, and ensure accountability.
- Maintain discipline and adherence to processes across all levels.
- Operational Efficiency
- Optimize warehouse layout for faster picking and minimal confusion.
- Reduce order processing time (TAT) while maintaining accuracy.
- Coordinate with dispatch, billing, and customer service teams.
- Returns & Defect Handling
- Implement strict processes for returned and cancelled items.
- Ensure proper segregation, inspection, and reintegration into stock.
- Reporting & Accountability
- Daily reporting on stock movement, discrepancies, and team performance.
- Identify gaps and implement corrective actions immediately.
Requirements- Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory/warehouse management (preferably in e-commerce or apparel).
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing large teams.
- Highly disciplined with a strict management approach.
- Zero tolerance for errors and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle high SKU volume and fast-paced operations.
- Proficient in inventory management systems and Excel.

- Ability to work under pressure and enforce discipline.
- Hands-on approach with leadership from the front.
