About the role

As a Software Engineering Manager on our Stylists team, you'll lead a talented group of engineers in building world-class algorithms and applications that empower our network of remote stylists. You'll partner closely with our product managers and stylists to deeply understand their workflows and challenges, then translate those into technical solutions that make their jobs easier and more delightful. You'll mentor and grow your team, championing a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence. Core responsibilities: - Lead and manage a high-performing team of engineers focused on empowering our styling network - Partner closely with product managers and stylists to deeply understand their needs and challenges, and translate those into impactful technical solutions - Drive the team's technical roadmap, setting a clear vision and aligning the team around shared goals - Recruit, onboard, and develop top engineering talent - Foster a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and innovation - Collaborate cross-functionally with other engineering teams, product, and operations to deliver seamless end-to-end experiences - Contribute to the growth and evolution of Stitch Fix's engineering culture, practices, and infrastructure
