Sporting Goods Associate – Ace Hardware
Ace Hardware is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused team member to join our Sporting Goods Department. If you enjoy the outdoors and take pride in helping others find the right gear, this could be a great fit for you.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with firearms, ammunition, fishing gear, and related products
- Provide excellent customer service and product recommendations
- Stock freight and maintain department organization
- Complete price changes and ensure accurate signage
- Face and merchandise shelves to keep displays clean, organized, and fully stocked
Requirements:
- Knowledge of firearms, fishing, and sporting goods products required
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Strong customer service skills and a positive, helpful attitude
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move objects weighing up to 40lbs
- Willingness to work freight and perform physical tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Basic math skills and proficiency in using point of sale (POS) systems.
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
