Job Title: Senior Steward / Floor Captain
Location: Panjim & Assagao, Goa
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: ₹18,000 – ₹24,000 per month (based on experience and performance)
Shift Timings: 10 to 10.5 hours per day, 6 days a week
Accommodation: Provided (shared among staff)
Joining: Immediate joiner preferred
Language: Good English fluency required
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of stewards and kitchen/utility staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Oversee cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, pantry, storerooms, and dining or service areas.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of food and non-food items to maintain hygiene and prevent wastage.
- Assist in implementing and enforcing hygiene, safety, and housekeeping standards as per management guidelines.
- Organize daily, weekly, and monthly deep-cleaning schedules as required.
- Maintain a professional, polite, and service-oriented attitude towards both staff and guests.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience as a Steward, Floor Steward, or Floor Captain in a hotel, restaurant, or catering setup (hospitality or F&B experience preferred).
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Physically fit and able to work long hours on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and willingness to work on a rotational schedule.
- Good English communication skills (speaking and basic comprehension).
