About the role

Job Summary:

The Laboratory Analyst performs hands-on laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures and regulatory standards, including Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), under the guidance of a Study Director. This role ensures accurate, real-time documentation of results, maintains traceability of samples throughout testing, and promptly communicates any unexpected observations or deviations to the Study Director. This position provides foundational laboratory experience and exposure to regulated testing environments.

Essential Duties:

  • Perform laboratory testing (GLP and non-GLP) following approved procedures
  • Accurately document data in real time in accordance with Good Documentation Practices
  • Maintain proper sample handling and traceability
  • Identify and report deviations or unexpected results
  • Support quality investigations and continuous improvement efforts
  • Order and maintain laboratory supplies as needed
  • Follow all regulatory, safety, and company policies

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline

 

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

This position works primarily in a professional laboratory setting with potential exposure to biological and chemical materials.

  • Frequent standing and movement throughout the day
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
