About the role

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Sr. Career Advisor / Career Advisor with experience in bench sales to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in selling various sales plans and a proven ability to market and sell IT consultants to vendors and clients. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with vendors, and placing bench consultants on client projects. This role requires strong sales acumen, an understanding of IT staffing, and experience in navigating complex client relationships.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bench Sales Marketing:
  • Utilize a variety of sales plans and marketing strategies (cold calling, emails, networking) to promote services and secure closures.
  • Work closely with recruiters to understand the skill sets, work preferences, and career goals of consultants to ensure successful job matches.
  • Sales Strategy & Plan Execution:
  • Generate leads through a combination of cold outreach, vendor relationships, and networking to build a consistent sales pipeline.
  • Sales Reporting & Market Research:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline opportunities, and placement data using CRM tools.
  • Monitor market trends, client feedback, and industry developments to refine sales strategies and stay competitive in the staffing market.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, lead generation, and placement metrics.
  • New Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by expanding the client base and deepening relationships with existing clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to create compelling sales proposals and presentations.
  • Stay updated on the latest IT trends, technologies, and roles to effectively market consultants and meet client demands.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred) but not required.

  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to sales, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A good understanding of immigration and visa regulations related to OPT, STEM OPT, and H1-B workers (preferred).
