Indo Scots Global School, Kamothe is seeking a passionate and experienced Robotics and STEM Instructor to drive innovation in classrooms by designing and delivering engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences. The role focuses on nurturing problem-solving, creativity, and real-world application of STEM concepts among students.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with STEM and robotics education goals.
Facilitate hands-on learning experiences using robotics kits, tools, and emerging technologies.
Develop structured curriculum plans, including unit plans and schemes of work across grade levels.
Integrate design thinking and inquiry-based learning approaches in classroom instruction.
Encourage students to explore, experiment, and demonstrate understanding through projects and presentations.
Monitor student progress and assess learning outcomes through practical and formative assessments.
Collaborate with academic teams to align STEM learning with school curriculum objectives.
Maintain and manage STEM lab resources, ensuring safe and effective usage.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Professional Qualification: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) preferred.
Experience: Prior experience in teaching robotics/STEM or working with school students will be an added advantage.
Strong understanding of robotics platforms, basic coding, and STEM tools.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with AI, IoT, or emerging technologies in education.
Ability to integrate interdisciplinary learning approaches.
Experience in conducting STEM projects, competitions, or exhibitions.
