Core Purpose of Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Language Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering language instruction that aligns with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework. The teacher will foster a love of language, cultivate critical thinking, and develop students' ability to communicate effectively. The Language Teacher will contribute to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages inquiry, respect, and intercultural understanding.

The Teacher Should:

  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and production of units/schemes of work
  • Become familiar with the curriculum guidelines, and work towards their successful implementation Demonstrate an understanding of inquiry and give students choices to show their understanding
  • Decide and explain clear learning objectives, and set appropriate assignments with an adequate time allocation
  • Present material in a clear, organized fashion
