Overview
The Controller is responsible for the accounting operations of the company, maintenance of the general ledger, and the oversite of controls designed to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Maintain the chart of accounts, post general ledger transactions, and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and reconcile related accounts.
- Issue accurate and complete financial statements on a timely basis.
- Responsible for the preparation of various regulatory reports and compliance with applicable federal/state laws.
- Provide assistance and support to management in the financial analysis of various projects.
- Provide financial information to external auditors for annual audits.

Required Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 5 to 7 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
