Job Description – Steel Designer (Metro Station Projects)
Position: Steel Designer
Experience: 4+ Years
Location: Hybrid
Industry: Infrastructure / Metro Rail / Structural Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed steel structural drawings for metro station projects.
- Develop fabrication and erection drawings using AutoCAD, Tekla, or relevant design software.
- Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and project teams for design execution.
- Review GA drawings, connection details, and material specifications.
- Ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and safety requirements.
- Support project execution with timely revisions and technical documentation.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of structural steel detailing and drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or similar software.
- Understanding of metro station structures and fabrication standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
Qualification:
- BE in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Preferred:
- Experience in Metro Rail or large infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of fabrication and site execution processes.
