Role Description The Statistics Tutor will provide classroom-based instruction and academic support to learners enrolled in statistics and related data-focused programs. Responsibilities include planning and delivering lectures, conducting problem-solving sessions, guiding learners through practical exercises, and assisting with assignments and exam preparation. The tutor will simplify complex statistical concepts, connect theory to real-world applications, and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles. Additional tasks include developing and updating course materials, collaborating with other trainers to maintain curriculum quality, and providing regular feedback on learner progress. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Statistics and Mathematics skills, including probability, distributions, hypothesis testing, and data interpretation.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills to explain concepts clearly and engage diverse learner groups.
- Candidates should possess Online Tutoring skills, with the ability to use digital tools and learning platforms when required.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Prior teaching, tutoring, or training experience in statistics or quantitative subjects is highly beneficial.
- Ability to design lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials aligned with industry-focused curricula.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in applications of statistics in IT and data-driven domains.
