Statistical Reporting Specialist (Assistant Manager & Lead Assistant Manager)
Position: Statistical Reporting Specialist (AM)
Function: Statistical Reporting
Note - This is the full-time Job Opportunity with one of the Outsourcing organisation.

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional with strong experience in US Insurance Statistical Reporting and Insurance Finance. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on exposure to Unit Stat Reporting, insurance data analysis, reporting tools, and database management along with a strong understanding of Commercial and Personal Insurance lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Work independently on Unit Stat systems and statistical reporting processes
- Gather and validate data from rating bureau websites against internal Unit Stat systems
- Review and update experience modification factors, audited payroll data, class codes, and loss information before bureau submissions
- Analyze and resolve edits/errors in Unit Stat reports prior to submission
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of reporting documentation as per company guidelines
- Maintain databases, recurring reports, files, and reporting records
- Support data mining, reporting analysis, and reporting tool administration activities
- Prepare SOPs and process documentation for reporting activities
- Participate in audits to ensure process effectiveness and compliance
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Legal & Compliance, Premium Audit, and Operations teams
- Assist in process improvements, reporting enhancements, and analyst training initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
Insurance Knowledge
- Strong understanding of US Insurance and Insurance Finance
- Experience working across LOBs such as:
- Auto
- General Liability (GL)
- Property
- Workers Compensation (WC)
- Exposure to both Commercial and Personal Insurance
- Good understanding of insurance terminology and reporting requirements
- Certifications like AINS or CPCU will be an added advantage
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Access
- Experience in data mining, reporting, and database management
- Working knowledge of one or more of the following:
- Oracle
- MS SQL Server
- IBM DB2
- PLSQL
- AS400 Mainframe
- Essbase
- JCL
- Ability to develop and maintain reporting logic and customized reporting processes
Soft Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and quality focus
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively
- Self-motivated and result-oriented approach
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
Experience Required
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in Insurance and Finance
- Prior experience in Statistical Reporting / Insurance Reporting preferred
- Experience in technical/reporting environments will be an added advantage
