This position delivers essential services to diverse customers throughout the Department of Treasury. Responsibilities include sorting and delivering mail, preparing certified and specialized mailings, batching and electronically preparing documents for imaging using Treasury software, voiding undeliverable State-issued checks, and performing mail scanning. Please note that onsite work will be required.

Position Duties
Education
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school.
Experience
General Office Assistant 5
No specific type or amount of experience is required.
General Office Assistant 6
One year of administrative support experience.
General Office Assistant E7
Two years of administrative support experience, including one year equivalent to the intermediate level.

Work must be performed in the state of Michigan. If you currently reside outside of Michigan, you must relocate to Michigan to perform the duties of this position prior to being appointed to the position. Relocation expenses are not reimbursed.
