ABOUT THE ROLE
KGDC Enterprises LLP is a fast-growing Solar EPC company executing residential, commercial, and industrial rooftop projects across Odisha, Jharkhand, and West Bengal. We are scaling our Residential Solar vertical across Odisha and building a structured, high-performance direct-to-consumer sales engine.
This is a build-and-scale leadership mandate. The State Head will own the complete residential solar business for Odisha — including statewide direct sales strategy, field team expansion, revenue ownership, and funnel discipline.
Solar background is not required. We are looking for adaptive, intellectually curious sales leaders who can learn a new category fast and build from scratch.
⚠ WHO THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR
We are not looking for Channel Sales Managers or distributor-led sales profiles. This role requires hands-on experience managing direct-to-consumer field sales teams closing high-value transactions.
Profiles primarily focused on dealer/distributor channel management without direct consumer sales exposure will not be considered.
MANDATORY BACKGROUND
Candidates must have experience in one or more of the following sectors:
• Fintech
• Telecom Distribution
• BFSI / NBFC
• Insurance
• Microfinance
• Consumer Lending
• Large Field Sales Networks
Applicants must also have:
• Built and managed district-level or state-level direct field sales teams
• Opened and scaled new territories from the ground up
• Delivered aggressive revenue targets through direct selling
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead residential rooftop solar direct sales across all districts of Odisha
• Recruit, train, and manage Solar Sales Executives (SSEs) across 7+ districts
• Build structured on-ground lead generation mechanisms — BTL, referral, and community activation
• Drive strict CRM discipline and full pipeline visibility from lead to installation
• Improve booking-to-installation conversion efficiency and reduce drop-offs
• Achieve monthly and quarterly installed capacity (kW) targets
• Coordinate with financing partners (bank DSA channels) and the DISCOM ecosystem for subsidy processing
• Monitor cost per acquisition, team productivity, and district-level performance
• Provide ground-level market feedback to improve product, pricing, and scheme communication
EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
• 5–7 years of sales leadership experience in direct field sales environments
• Strong exposure to field-intensive direct consumer operations at scale
• Proven team-building, territory expansion, and execution capability
• Operational discipline — structured review cadences, target-setting, and accountability frameworks
• Comfort working with CRM systems, dashboards, and performance data
• High ownership mindset with clear accountability for state-level revenue and team outcomes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with lean central support
COMPENSATION & EARNING POTENTIAL
• Fixed CTC: ₹10–11 LPA
