We’re Hiring Across India | State Head – Consumer Affairs & Media
Upbhokta Panchayat is inviting Journalists, Aspiring Journalists, Freelance Reporters, Retired Professionals, Consumer Activists and socially conscious individuals to become the State Head for their state.
If you can identify consumer issues, ask the right questions, interview important people and bring consumer concerns into the public domain, this opportunity is for you.

What will you do?
As State Head, you will represent Upbhokta Panchayat in your state and:
🔹 Identify important consumer issues and problems faced by people
🔹 Interact with consumers and understand their concerns
🔹 Develop consumer-interest stories, articles, interviews and reports
🔹 Interview Ministers, elected representatives, government officials, regulators, industry leaders and experts
🔹 Raise important consumer issues through the Upbhokta Panchayat portal and social media
🔹 Follow up relevant issues with concerned authorities and institutions
🔹 Help consumers understand their rights and available grievance-redressal mechanisms
🔹 Build relationships with government, media, industry, experts and civil-society organisations
🔹 Identify opportunities for consumer-awareness programmes, campaigns, research and partnerships

Revenue-Sharing Model
This is not a salaried employment position and there is no fixed monthly salary.
State Heads can earn through revenue-sharing on eligible programmes, campaigns, partnerships, advertisements, research, consumer-awareness projects and other opportunities generated or developed by them.
The applicable revenue-sharing terms will be discussed and mutually agreed before the relevant activity or project begins.
