Role Description The State Collection Head is responsible for overseeing and managing collections operations across the state, ensuring timely recovery of dues while maintaining customer relationships and compliance with regulatory guidelines. This full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad includes setting collection targets, monitoring performance, and implementing strategies to improve collection efficiency and minimize delinquencies. The role involves supervising and guiding collection teams, reviewing portfolio quality, analyzing risk, and coordinating with internal stakeholders such as finance and operations. Daily activities include tracking key metrics, resolving escalated cases, conducting field visits when necessary, and preparing regular reports for senior management. The State Collection Head is expected to uphold ethical collection practices and support continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Debt Collection and Collections Management, with experience handling diverse portfolios and recovery strategies.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Finance knowledge to interpret data, assess risk, and support informed decision-making.
- Candidates should possess effective Team Management skills, including the ability to lead, coach, and motivate collection teams across multiple locations.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and negotiation skills to manage customer interactions and resolve complex collection issues professionally.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with NBFC operations, regulatory compliance in collections, and ethical recovery practices.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field are preferred, along with prior experience in state or regional collection leadership roles.
