Dual Enrollment Specialist

Salary range: Min: $50,000 - Max: 65,002

Typical Hours of Work: This is a 220-day contracted position. Days and hours will vary based upon department need. Typical hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with some weekend and evening hours as needed.

• You enjoy working with dual-enrolled students and school partners to ensure that students, parents, secondary and postsecondary counselors/advisors, faculty, and administrators are fully informed about Early College High School (ECHS)

• You also enjoy assisting with College Credit Plus (CCP) and career pathway initiatives, including Career Technical Education (CTE) credit options available for middle school and high school students  

• Lastly, if you are passionate about assisting with the advancement of Early College High School, College Credit Plus, and Career-Technical Education programs under the direction of the Director of Secondary School Partnerships

• Serve as a primary contact for our Early College High School program with Canton City Schools and be in close collaboration with ECHS administration (Principal and School Counselor)   
• Maintain a dual work presence at Stark State’s Downtown Canton and Main Campus (North Canton) locations, with the ability to travel between campuses as operational needs require. including providing limited evening and weekend support as needed for events such as open houses, parent meetings, and graduation activities. Participate in monthly Early College High School Zoom meetings and attend any face-to-face meetings (local and state level) 
• Maintain accurate and timely student academic and admissions records, including test scores, transcripts, and college acceptance documentation. Coordinates and administers Accuplacer to Early College High School students
• Schedule students from rosters and individual/group advising sessions with students 
• Coordinate the college schedule with the college Department Chairs, Registrar, and ECHS administration
• Assist with College Credit Plus data entry (test scores, transcripts, permission slips for mature content 
• Support College Credit Plus recruitment, outreach, enrollment, parent nights, information sessions, and campus tours.
• Support Career Technical Education (CTE) partners with work-based learning opportunities, including cooperative education, internships, pre-apprenticeships, and apprenticeships.
• Provide information to students and parents including the process steps necessary register for classes and/or access their credit upon postsecondary enrollment, etc.

• Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited insitution.  Preferably in Education, Psychology or Business 
• One-year, full-time equivalent, working experience in a college and or high school setting 
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and ability to travel between multiple work locations, including, but not limited to main campus and the downtown Canton location(s)
