SCOPE OF WORK: The Workforce Services & Program Case Manager is responsible for delivering essential case management and social services to community members by supporting workforce development, education, training, and financial assistance programs. This role serves both youth and adults, managing a diverse caseload to improve participants’ employment readiness, job placement, and overall well-being through General Assistance and Workforce Services programs.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct intake interviews, assess eligibility, and determine service needs for financial assistance, training, education, and employment support.
- Develop individualized service plans or job development plans, including referrals for training, education, employment, and social services, including: Medical, Mental Health, Treatment, Childcare, LIHEAP, Housing, SSA Benefits, and Veterans Benefits.
- Maintain a regular caseload and conduct ongoing follow-up, including home visits and reassessments as needed.
- Provide job readiness support including resume writing, application assistance, interview preparation, and job retention coaching.
- Conduct employment readiness workshops and career assessments.
- Manage client financial assistance cases, including processing applications, conducting redeterminations, and maintaining documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and tribal regulations across all programs (DOL, DOI, HHS, etc.).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related social science field; or Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field
- Valid driver’s license
SHIFT: 8:00am – 4:30pm
TESTING AND BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:
Subject to pre-employment, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing.
Tribal, State, and Federal background investigation and MVR screening required.
HIRING PREFERENCES:
Qualified applicants who are enrolled members of a federally recognized Tribe will receive Native American preference.
Qualified applicants will receive Veteran’s Preference with submission of proof of honorable military service (e.g., DD-214).
