Service Technician, Residential HVAC

Standard Heating & Air Conditioning has an immediate opening for an experienced, Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our team! Service Technicians are responsible for diagnosing, repairing, & maintaining residential HVAC equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, heat pumps, humidifiers, & indoor air quality equipment. What You’ll Do:

· Work in residential homes throughout the Twin Cities metro.

· Provide high level customer service with clear communication from start to finish. 

· Troubleshoot, diagnose, & repair HVAC equipment.

· Perform preventive maintenance & warranty work.

· Present findings, provide options, & educate customers to make informed decisions.

· Maintain accurate documentation & complete required paperwork.

· Limited emergency service work & weekend rotations.

· Other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

· High personal integrity & a genuine desire to serve others.

· Excellent customer service & communication skills.

· Strong technical ability with formal HVAC education and/or 5+ years of experience.

· A valid driver’s license & clean driving record.

· EPA certification

· Competency cards for Minneapolis or St. Paul preferred but not required.

· Someone who takes pride in their work, follows process, & enjoys being part of a team.
