We have an exciting opportunity for a Head - Operational Excellence to join our team. Purpose of the role: - To lead the strategic direction, definition, and execution of the Operational Excellence agenda for the business unit and ensure business performance meets target and regulatory/risk requirements. - Drive the operational excellence mandate, contributing towards innovation, productivity and capability enhancements. - Partner with the business unit leadership to strengthen the operational resilience, increase efficiency, and build business agility. Responsibilities: - Develop and execute an Operational Excellence strategy aligned to the business unit strategic priorities. - Partner with the business unit leadership and subject matter experts to identify and prioritize key operational excellence initiatives. - Build and lead a high-performing team of Operational Excellence experts, analysts, process improvement specialists to drive the operatonal excellence agenda. - Define, measure and report on operational performance metrics and analytics to drive business performance and decision-making. - Drive the implementation of process improvements, automation, and capability enhancements to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and resilience. - Collaborate with the global and regional Operational Excellence Community to share best practices and leverage synergies. - Engage with relevant stakeholders to ensure initiatives are aligned to control, risk and compliance requirements. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management or a related field. - Minimum 10 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Business Transformation, Process Improvement, or a similar role. - Strong understanding of various operational excellence frameworks and methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, Design Thinking, Agile, etc. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. - Proven track record of driving operational excellence initiatives and delivering measurable business impact. - Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills. - Knowledge of banking operations and processes is preferred.
