Graphic Designer (Intern)

About Us: STAGE is a hyper-local OTT platform dedicated to bringing regional and dialect-based content to audiences across India. Our mission is to create a unique entertainment experience that resonates with local cultures and languages. Role Overview: As an Intern Graphic Designer, you will work closely with our movie poster designers and social media designers to create compelling visuals. You'll gain hands-on experience in design principles, photo manipulation, and visual storytelling while contributing to real-world projects. Responsibilities: Assist in designing movie posters, social media graphics, and promotional materials. Use Photoshop tools for photo manipulation, image cutouts, and creating visual hierarchy. Apply color theory, typography, and design principles to create visually appealing designs. Work with smart objects, actions, and other advanced Photoshop techniques. Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute creative ideas. (Optional) Assist with basic motion graphics and video editing tasks. Stay updated on AI tools and techniques to enhance design workflows. Maintain brand consistency across all designs. Collaborate with marketing and content teams to understand design requirements. Stay updated with the latest design trends and industry standards. Requirements: Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Proficiency in Photoshop tools and techniques (photo manipulation, cutouts, smart objects, etc.). A strong portfolio showcasing design skills, motion skills and creativity. Basic knowledge of motion graphics and video editing is a plus. Interest in regional content and entertainment is an advantage. Strong understanding of design principles, visual hierarchy, and composition. Knowledge of color theory and typography. Familiarity with AI tools for design and image generation (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, etc.) is preferred. Creative mindset with attention to detail and a passion for design. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to take feedback and make revisions accordingly.
