Company Description S M Multispeciality Hospitals & ICCU is a polyclinic diagnostic and treatment center offering a wide range of services, including ICCU, NICU, pediatric, surgical, orthopedic, maternity, and general hospital care. Located in Nallasopara in the middle of the city, it is easily accessible from Virar/Nallasopara railway station, Nallasopara ST depot, and the Palghar–Dahanu national highway. The hospital has a 30-bed capacity, with dedicated beds for ICU, NICU, maternity, and a general ward. Clinical specialties include internal medicine, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, general surgery, cardiology, diabetology, nephrology, ophthalmology, ENT, psychiatry, and gastroenterology, providing comprehensive care to the community.
Role Description The Staff Nurse (GNM / B.Sc. Nursing) is a full-time, on-site role based in West Bengal, India. Responsibilities include providing safe and compassionate nursing care to patients across different departments, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures under the guidance of physicians. The role involves maintaining accurate patient records, preparing and managing equipment, and ensuring adherence to infection control and safety protocols. The Staff Nurse will support patient and family education, coordinate with the multidisciplinary team, and contribute to smooth ward operations, including shift handovers and emergency care when required.
Qualifications
- Recognized GNM or B.Sc. Nursing qualification with valid registration from the appropriate nursing council.
- Clinical nursing skills in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and basic nursing procedures.
- Experience or familiarity with critical care, pediatric, maternity, and general ward nursing will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of infection control, patient safety standards, and hospital protocols.
- Ability to maintain clear and accurate documentation, including nursing notes and patient records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Resilience, attention to detail, and commitment to ethical, patient-centered care.
- Prior experience in a multispeciality or ICU/NICU setting is preferred but not mandatory.
