Key responsibilities
Provide bedside care including hygiene, feeding, and mobility support.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times.
- Check and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
- Observe and report any changes in patient condition.
- Give prescribed medications, injections, and IV fluids.
- Ensure correct dosage and timely administration.
- Support doctors during examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide post-procedure care.
- Document patient history, treatment plans, and progress.
- Keep accurate nursing notes and reports.
- Follow hygiene and infection control protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness of patient areas and equipment.
- Educate patients and families about treatment, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Provide guidance on health management.
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
- Ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Qualifications required
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing (GNM / BSc Nursing)
- Registration with State Nursing Council / Indian Nursing Council
- Experience in hospital or clinical setting preferred
