Role
We are looking for experienced Java/Python Engineers who have worked in a small, high-impact engineering team where engineers own systems end-to-end — from design to production.
You’ll build scalable backend systems and AI-powered applications, make key architectural decisions, and ship production-ready features quickly.
There are minimal process layers - ideas can move from concept to production fast.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build scalable backend systems using Java and microservices
- Develop AI-powered features and integrations using Python and modern LLM frameworks
- Build and maintain high-performance APIs and distributed systems
- Work across the stack including backend services, AI integrations, and frontend components
- Make key architecture decisions around caching, databases, and system scalability
- Own features end-to-end — design, development, deployment, and iteration
- Collaborate closely with product teams and users to build impactful solutions
Tech Stack
- Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs
- AI: Python, FastAPI, LLM integrations, LangGraph or similar frameworks
- Frontend: JavaScript / TypeScript, React
- Infrastructure: AWS, CI/CD
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience building scalable backend systems using Java
- Hands-on exposure to AI / LLM integrations or AI-enabled applications
- Solid understanding of system design and distributed architectures
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure and microservices
- Ability to own systems end-to-end and make technical decisions
