Senior Staff Engineer (Full Stack – Backend Heavy)
Location: Gurgaon (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 12–15 Years
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Staff Engineer with deep expertise in backend engineering and strong hands-on experience in React.js for frontend.
The ideal candidate should be a backend-heavy engineer (Java/Python/Golang) who can design and build scalable distributed systems while also contributing to frontend architecture using React.js (mandatory).
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & System Design
- Design and drive scalable, high-performance distributed systems
- Lead end-to-end architecture across backend and frontend layers
- Define best practices for performance, scalability, and reliability
Backend Engineering (Core Focus)
- Hands-on development using Java / Python / Golang
- Build robust APIs and microservices
- Optimize systems for high throughput and low latency
Frontend Engineering (Mandatory – React.js)
- Develop and maintain frontend applications using React.js
- Collaborate closely with backend services for seamless integration
- Ensure performance, responsiveness, and clean UI architecture
Technical Leadership
- Mentor engineers and drive technical excellence
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
- Lead architecture discussions and technical decision-making
Scalability & Reliability
- Build fault-tolerant, highly available systems
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability practices
Required Skills
Backend (Must Have)
- Strong expertise in Java / Python / Golang
- Experience with Microservices & Distributed Systems
- Strong system design fundamentals
Frontend (Strictly Mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with React.js (Angular not applicable)
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture and state management
Cloud & DevOps
- Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
Database & Messaging
- Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases
- Exposure to Kafka / messaging systems
