🚀 Hiring: Staff Engineer – Markets Implementation & Operate
We are looking for a highly skilled Staff Engineer with strong expertise in distributed systems, backend engineering, and cloud platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-impact environments and can drive end-to-end engineering delivery, from architecture to production support.
🔍 Role Overview
As a Staff Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of scalable, resilient systems in a microservices-driven ecosystem. You will play a critical role in architecture decisions, incident management, and system reliability, while collaborating closely with stakeholders and clients.
💼 Key Responsibilities
🏗️ Architecture & System Design
- Design and architect scalable distributed systems
- Create detailed technical design documents with trade-offs
- Collaborate with architects and senior engineering leaders
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery
⚙️ Technical Leadership & Delivery
- Own end-to-end delivery (planning → production)
- Drive critical technical decisions aligned with business goals
- Mentor engineers and influence engineering best practices
🚨 Incident Management & Reliability
- Lead incident triage and resolution across systems
- Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and preventive solutions
- Ensure system stability, uptime, and performance
🤝 Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Act as technical POC during escalations
- Communicate complex issues to both technical & non-technical stakeholders
- Prepare structured RCA reports and insights
🔄 DevOps / SRE
- Drive CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Ensure high system reliability and observability
🤖 AI-Assisted Engineering
- Leverage AI tools (Copilot, Cursor, etc.) for development & optimization
🛠️ Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Java & backend development
- Expertise in microservices architecture & distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines & DevOps practices
- Experience in high availability & disaster recovery design
- Proven expertise in incident management & RCA
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication & stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable in fast-paced environments
⭐ Nice to Have
- Experience in large-scale enterprise systems
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools
- Prior client-facing engineering experience
