Job Description
We are looking for a Staff Backend Engineer to design and build high-scale, performance-critical distributed systems. You will play a key role in architectural decisions, technical leadership, and system scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend systems and APIs
- Drive architecture and technical strategy across teams
- Build and maintain high-performance distributed systems
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and testing strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Frontend, Data)
- Mentor engineers and uphold engineering best practices
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Scala / Java / Kotlin / C# / Go
- Expertise in Microservices & Distributed Systems
- Solid knowledge of SQL / RDBMS (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience in system design & architecture
- Good communication skills in English
Good to Have
- NoSQL databases
- Messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Experience with modern backend frameworks
