We’re looking for a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team in Gandhinagar and work closely with US-based real estate operations.
If you have strong accounting fundamentals, experience in multi-family property accounting, and the confidence to take ownership of financial reporting, cash management and team coordination — this opportunity is for you!
💼 Position: Staff Accountant
📍 Location: Gandhinagar
🏢 Work Mode: Work from Office
🌙 Shift: 5:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST / 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST
(Daylight Saving Time applicable)
🔎 What We’re Looking For:
✔️ CA with 5+ years of experience in multi-family property accounting & finance, or equivalent experience
✔️ Experience leading/training an accounting team of 5+ members
✔️ Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting & cost control
✔️ Hands-on exposure to Construction Accounting, Job Costing & Reconciliations
✔️ Working knowledge of Yardi & Sage Timberline is an advantage
✔️ Excellent command of MS Excel & Word
✔️ Strong understanding of cash management and cash-flow projections
✔️ Ability to monitor and improve NOI (Net Operating Income)
✔️ Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills
✔️ Self-starter with a collaborative, ownership-driven approach
🚀 What You’ll Handle:
🔹 Monthly, quarterly & YTD financial reporting and variance analysis
🔹 General Ledger review, journal entries & month-end closing
🔹 AP/AR processing and review
🔹 Property-level cash-flow monitoring and expense control
🔹 Construction accounting, job costing, pay applications & draw requests
🔹 Audit & tax return workpaper preparation
🔹 1099 tax filings
🔹 Budgeting and quarterly forecasting with Asset & Property Managers
🔹 Mortgage, escrow, reserve account & banking coordination
🔹 Process improvement and strengthening internal accounting controls
🔹 Supporting initiatives to improve property-level NOI
