About the role

As a Sales Account Executive at StackGen, you will play a critical role in our growth, focusing on driving revenue through new customer acquisition and expanding existing accounts. This role is ideal for a driven, tech-savvy sales professional with a strong understanding of DevOps, cloud, and platform engineering. You'll work closely with our team to refine our go-to-market strategy, positioning StackGen as the go-to solution for companies looking to improve their developer experience and accelerate their infrastructure deployment. Responsibilities Identify and engage with prospective customers, effectively managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, understanding their business challenges and how StackGen's solutions can address them. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to provide customer feedback and shape product development. Conduct product demos and technical presentations, showcasing how StackGen's solutions solve real-world challenges in DevOps and platform engineering. Negotiate contracts and pricing to close new business and upsell to existing accounts. Accurately forecast and track sales metrics to ensure goals and quotas are met. Requirements 3+ years of experience in a sales role, preferably within a high-growth, early-stage SaaS or tech startup environment. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals in a B2B setting. Strong technical acumen, with a solid understanding of DevOps, platform engineering, and cloud computing concepts. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) and sales enablement tools. Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and driving results.
