Computer Vision Research Scientist

Stability AI is looking for a Computer Vision Research Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research and development in computer vision, with a focus on developing novel algorithms and techniques to push the boundaries of what is possible in this field. You will work closely with a team of talented researchers and engineers to tackle complex problems and deliver impactful solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct fundamental and applied research in computer vision, with a focus on areas such as object detection, segmentation, and classification. - Develop innovative algorithms and models that can be deployed in real-world applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate your research into production systems. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision and related fields, and contribute to the research community through publications and conferences. - Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge. Requirements: - PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong background in computer vision. - Extensive experience in developing and implementing state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms, including deep learning techniques. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and/or CUDA. - Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras. - Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of fundamental concepts in machine learning and computer vision. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. - A track record of publications in top-tier computer vision conferences and journals.
