Requirements
Candidates must pass a state and national criminal history record check and fingerprinting, as required by law and diocesan policy for working around children. They should possess the ability to interact appropriately and professionally with students, staff, and parents, projecting a "positive image" for the school, parish, and diocese. They should have knowledge of industrial equipment such as floor buffers and commercial vacuums, as well as minor maintenance skills for replacing light bulbs or fixing furniture. They should have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently (e.g., salt bags, furniture) and handle significant physical labor for the duration of a shift. They should be capable of understanding and following multi-step written or verbal instructions, such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
