Housekeeping Full Time Day Shift: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
St. Joseph Residence is a not-for-profit Catholic organization seeking a caring, compassionate, and responsible community member to join our environmental services team as a housekeeper providing housekeeping services for residents and common areas of our communities. Responsibilities Include:
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms and common areas of the facility
- Sweep, mop, vacuum floors
- Shampoo furniture, carpets, and recliner chairs
- Dust, polish and sanitize furniture and fixtures
- Wash windows, railings, and walls
- Deep clean resident rooms and apartments
- Carry linens, towels, cleaning supplies, etc. using proper sanitary and safety techniques
- Adhere to established infection control procedures
- Assist residents with organizing personal items and closets
- Other duties as assigned
The Base Wage for this position is $17.00/hour. This position is eligible for a $.50/hour attendance bonus for working all scheduled shifts.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 yrs old.
- Availability to work every other weekend and alternating holiday schedule.
- Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job
- Reliability: Must be punctual, have reliable attendance, and a good work ethic.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Collaboration: Interpersonal skills and the ability to work and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
