| Comments to applicant: St. Augustine High School's Academy of Advanced Automation Technology seeks a dynamic, industry-connected educator to teach in one of St. Johns County's newest Career Academies. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging, hands-on instruction in advanced manufacturing, mechatronics, automation, and Industry 4.0 technologies � including robotics, PLC programming, CAD/CAM, smart sensors, and data analytics � within a small learning community designed to make students both career and college ready. This teacher will guide students toward nationally recognized credentials such as the MSSC Certified Production Technician (CPT) and SACA Industry 4.0 certifications, while fostering the collaborative and technical skills that today's high-demand industries require. In addition to classroom instruction, the successful candidate will participate in advisory board activities, support student internship and dual enrollment opportunities, and help cultivate partnerships with regional employers in manufacturing, aerospace, medical devices, defense, and other high-tech sectors. A background in engineering technology, industrial automation, or a related field is strongly preferred, and relevant industry certifications are a plus. | Days per Year: 196 |
