Engineering Responsibility:
- To review/track the EEME Open points (S/W, H/W, Functional Specifications) based on different projects for global & local programs
- Review the background open issues/ hard points with corresponding meta functions for solution
- Understand the regulatory requirements for region and make sure EEME requirements are met.
- To conduct regular meetings with Stakeholders and drive for solution and completion of each milestone within timeline
- To track and review all test plans/validations and make sure it suits with standard and program milestone.
- To provide weekly status on EEME open issues for all programs to management
- To work with other functions (Ex: Body/Chassis/Interior) for coordinated changes, and make sure deliverable are met.
- Plant activities support and Travel to supplier end will be needed
Basic Qualification:
- BE/ME Mechanical/Electronics/Mechatronics with 12-15 yrs. hands-on experience in OEM on delivering components to various vehicle products
- Good knowledge in EE components and Modules
- Experience of working in automotive engineering and product lifecycle until SOP and Quality control as advantage
- Proactive and quick response to the hard/open critical & priority tasks
- Achieve the target of cost, performance, delay and quality of each version of Mechatronics components
- Team player ability to co-ordinate and drive the team for hard points solution
- Ability to communicate and co-ordinate well with different technical centers across the world
- Experience in program management with strong oral and written communication
- To have a knowledge on overall all Electrical Functions, Systems and Sub-Systems.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Clear and sharp communicator, ability to work and contribute continuous improvements way
- Ability to manage several projects of varying magnitude simultaneously
- Have good relationship for Manage CFTs , suppliers and external stakeholders in multicultural environment
- Regular Reporting to hierarchal manager and project to any important achievement/hard points/risk
- Conduct regular Design reviews and escalate issues which needs attention from other CFT /Management
- Have experience in diagnostics tools like Canalyser/CANoe
- Knowledge on all region’s development standards especially European standards
- Working proficiency on basic MS Office 365 tools (teams, one note etc.,)
- Experience on EMI/EMC certification of components & RF certifications
- Knowledge on packaging and issue resolutions with other parts of the system
- Knowledge on communication protocols of CAN, LIN, UDS Functional safety ISO26262 and cyber security
- Making Innovative products/ideas for future vehicles and patent creation is an additional advantage
